InfoShuttle® Client Builder is designed specifically for SAP® customers who need a flexible solution for building new clients in non-production environments.

By enabling user-selected master, transaction and related configuration data to be quickly and easily replicated from production systems into fully functional 'lean' clients for development, test and training environments, Client Builder dramatically reduces the time and disk space needed when compared with creating a full database copy.

By selecting only the most relevant business data, Basis, functional, testing, and training teams can quickly replicate production data specific to their needs. The result is an efficient method for configuring subsets of master and transactional data to be used in production support projects. Client Builder can rapidly create small, production-like clients, enabling:

Client Builder uses the InfoShuttle Content Library, the world’s most extensive repository of SAP objects and relationships, to detect all related data for high integrity transfer to the target system.

By leveraging this deep and unique understanding of the SAP data model and relationships, Client Builder enables customers to increase the business value of their SAP production data by putting it to work in development, QA and training processes – all without needing to resort to complex alternatives such as ALE, manual entry and ABAP loads.

The ability to use real life application data helps achieve better reliability in production environments, ensuring:

Since Client Builder is executed through an SAP standard interface, experienced users will find the product screens familiar and intuitive. Client Builder is run in background mode, allowing other tasks to be completed while the data is being transferred.
